Booking and contracting any of the trips offered by Ultreya Travel implies full acceptance of these general terms and conditions.
These general terms are governed by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of 16 November, approving the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws (BOE 287, 30 November 2007), and other applicable regulations on package travel.
The contractual relationship between Ultreya Travel and the client is governed by these general terms and by the trip’s technical data sheet, which details its final content. The client is responsible for checking the documentation received, and any questions must be raised before the trip begins.
The client is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided in the booking form. Ultreya Travel is not responsible for any consequences arising from false or incorrect information submitted by the client.
The technical organisation of the trips offered is carried out by Pablo Machado Soares, trading as Ultreya Travel, NIF 52051508-R, with business address at Calle Los Urquiza, 40 – Bajo A, 28017 Madrid, Spain.
The Agency holds mandatory civil liability insurance as required by law. All our trips include travel assistance insurance.
Cancellation insurance is an optional service that the client may purchase when booking the trip — we strongly recommend taking it out, since personal circumstances (illness, family bereavement, work-related issues) are not covered by the general cancellation policy, and only a separately purchased cancellation insurance protects against these situations.
1. Booking and processing: complete the booking form on the Ultreya Travel website.
2. Booking payment: pay a deposit of 150 € per person to confirm the booking. This amount is NON-REFUNDABLE and is deducted from the final price of the trip.
Payment methods:
The booking is not considered confirmed until Ultreya Travel has received the booking form and payment confirmation of the deposit.
3. Confirmation: Ultreya Travel will send written confirmation of the booking once the form and the 150 €-per-person deposit have been received.
4. Payment of the remaining balance: the remaining balance must be paid 30 days before the trip start date. Ultreya Travel will send all documentation relating to the trip within one week of full payment.
Trips booked less than 30 days before departure must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Included and optional services are those specified in the technical data sheet of each package, available on the corresponding page of the website and also provided after the booking deposit is paid.
Any cancellation by the client must be notified in writing to hello@ultreyatravel.com.
The consumer may withdraw from the contracted services at any time, with the right to a refund of amounts paid, subject to compensating the Agency in the following amounts:
Once the trip has begun, suspension, modification, interruption of services, or voluntary withdrawal by the client, for personal or any other reasons, does not give rise to any refund for services contracted but not used.
Refund period: any amount to be refunded will be returned without undue delay and, in any case, within 14 calendar days of contract termination — the period required under Article 160 of the TRLGDCU (Spanish consumer protection law).
Unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances: if cancellation is due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances significantly affecting the destination or transport (armed conflict, natural disasters, official travel restrictions, among others), the client is entitled to a full refund of all amounts paid, with no deductions — although without the right to additional compensation. This provision does not cover personal reasons (own illness, bereavement of a family member, work-related issues); for those cases, protection is provided exclusively by optional cancellation insurance.
If Ultreya Travel is forced to cancel a trip for reasons not attributable to the client, it will refund the client the full amount paid, or offer an alternative trip of equivalent or higher quality.
There is no obligation to compensate the client when cancellation is due to force majeure or sufficient cause (circumstances beyond the Agency’s control, unusual, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even with due diligence).
Any change requested after the booking has been confirmed incurs a 100 € administration fee. The request must be submitted at least 30 days before the trip start date.
All registered participants are responsible for having the necessary documentation in order for the destination country (ID card, passport, visas, health requirements, etc.). Ultreya Travel acts as an informant, but it is the client’s responsibility to confirm requirements with the relevant authorities. If the client is forced to cancel or abandon the trip due to missing or incorrect documentation, the cancellation policy conditions will apply.
The main booking holder or beneficiary may transfer their booking free of charge to a person who meets all the required conditions, by notifying Ultreya Travel in writing at least 30 days before the trip start date. The person transferring the booking and the new beneficiary are jointly and severally liable to Ultreya Travel for payment of the balance and any justified additional costs arising from the transfer.
If, before departure, Ultreya Travel is forced to significantly change essential elements of the trip, it will notify the client, who may choose to terminate the contract or accept the changes. The client must communicate their decision within 3 days of notification. If they do not do so within that period, it will be understood that they opt to terminate the contract, with no penalty.
Ultreya Travel is based in Spain. All travel packages and services offered by Ultreya Travel are organised and provided from Spain and are governed by Spanish law, in particular Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (TRLGDCU) and the applicable regulations on package travel.
This is without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights the client may have under the law of their country of residence.
